Highlands rallies from down 21 for 23rd state title

Highlands wins one for fallen teammates

I happened to be talking to Ashley Twehues-Thomas for an upcoming project Tuesday and mentioned the Highlands Bluebirds were playing the Owensboro Red Devils for the Class 4A state championship.

The Blue and White have put in the usual hard work and dedication to make it back to this point.

Now that the Highlands Bluebirds football team has made it back to the Class 4A state championship game, there is just one thing on the minds of the players and coaches.

Redemption.
