Highlands dominates NewCath

Weyer helps Thoroughbreds to state tournament win

Ben Weyer helped the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds basketball team to their first state tournament win since 1975 with a convincing 48-33 win over 7th Region champion Louisville Trinity on Wednesday.

NewCath pulls away from Dixie Heights in 9th Quarterfinals
