All four 9th Region softball teams that qualified for the semifinals stayed alive another day thanks to Mother Nature.
Excessive rains in Northern Kentucky forced the postponement of the tournament by a day. The games will start at the originally scheduled time back at Northern Kentucky University.
The defending region champion Highlands Ladybirds (23-8 overall) will take on the Conner Lady Cougars (26-5) at 4:30 p.m. The second semifinal game pits Notre Dame (24-6) against Ryle (14-12) at 6 p.m.
