Highlands Bowling in SK Bash

The Highlands Bluebirds bowling teams participated in the Simon Kenton Baker Bash on Saturday. Both teams finished third at Super Bowl Bellewood in Bellevue.

The Highlands girls take on Conner on Dec. 2 at LaRu Lanes. The match starts at 3:30 p.m.

Bluebird Freshman Team Lost Just Once This Season

With the graduation of 31 seniors, Highlands could see a number of contributors move up from the junior varsity and freshman squads.

The junior varsity team finished 5-4. The Bluebirds defeated Campbell County, Ryle, Conner, Boone County and Cooper and lost to Simon Kenton twice, Covington Catholic and Cincinnati St. Xavier.

The Highlands Bowling teams opened with a co-ed victory over St. Henry by 2,515 pins to 2,188 at LaRu Lanes in Highland Heights.
