The Cincinnati (Ohio) Princeton Vikings (1-3 overall) handed the Highlands Bluebirds girls basketball team (2-1) its first loss of the season by a 69-29 score in the Hoops for Harvest Classic at Dixie Heights on Saturday.
The Vikings saw 10 different players score. Willow White led the way with 12 points.
Highlands did manage to see one player score in double figures. That was junior Kelsey Listerman with 10 points.
Princeton shot free throws better. The Vikings made 12-of-14 for 86 percent compared to 3-of-9 for 33 percent for the Bluebirds.
Highlands travels to Bellevue on Wednesday. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
