The Highlands Bluebirds baseball team (9-3 overall) earned a 36th District win via forfeit from the Dayton Greendevils. Highlands has not lost to a district opponent since 2012.
Highlands travels to Campbell County on Thursday. Game time is 5 p.m. as part of the Doc Morris Invitational.

Highlands moved to 5-1 on the season with the region win. The Bluebirds take on Scott at 3:45 p.m. at Tower Park on Thursday.
