Highlands wins second straight

The Highlands Bluebirds basketball team recorded its second straight victory with a 73-67 non-region home win over the Pendleton County Wildcats.

The Bluebirds improved to 4-9 on the season while Pendleton County dropped to 8-12. The Wildcats have lost three straight.

Highlands saw three players reach double figures. Braden Posey and Kyle Finfrock led the way with 20 points each. Mitch Cain added 18.

The Bluebirds take on Dixie Heights (12-6) on Friday in Fort Thomas. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
