Jenkins senior guard Whitney Creech scored 39 points, but Jenkins fell to Pikeville, 71-53.
Pikeville pulled away in the second half after trailing 35-32 at halftime. Creech scored 73.5 percent of Jenkins' points. The Lady Cavaliers fell to 9-11 on the season.
Creech has 4,855 points for her career and has 988 on the season. She's averaging 49.4 points per game and needs just 94 points to break Highlands Head Coach Jaime Walz-Richey's state record for the most points in a career boys and girls of 4,948.
Jenkins takes on Letcher County Central at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Game time is 2 p.m.
