Cancellations

The Highlands baseball and softball teams had several cancellations between Thursday and Friday as a result of the cold weather.

The Bluebirds baseball team (15-8 overall) did not play its games against Bellevue on Friday or at Lexington Catholic on Saturday. Highlands next plays Cincinnati Moeller at 5 p.m. on Monday. Highlands will play Cincinnati LaSalle on Tuesday instead of Dayton, who forfeited by a 7-0 score making the Bluebirds 3-0 in 36th District play.

The Ladybirds (6-13-1) did not play at Dayton in 36th District play on Thursday. They also did not go down to Southwestern in Somerset to face Green County and Russell County for two games.

The next game for Highlands is scheduled for May 10 against Covington Holmes. Game time is 5 p.m.
