The
Highlands Bluebirds basketball team earned its first 9th Region win on the road
Thursday.
Highlands (4-8) beat Ryle, 62-60 with three seconds left in overtime. Senior Justin Weyer hit the game-winner on his way to 13 points. The Bluebirds are 1-5 in region action.

players hit double digits for the Bluebirds. Mitch Cain led the way with 16
points and Nick Kendall had 13.
Highlands
continues 36th District action Saturday at Dayton. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
