Highlands Bluebirds basketball team could not upset the defending state
champions Friday in Fort Thomas.
The Covington Catholic Colonels (9-3) came in and beat Highlands (2-6), 70-37. That snapped the Bluebirds’ two-game winning streak.

Bluebirds saw one player reach double digits. That was Parker Harris with 14
points.
Highlands
does not play again until Thursday. The Bluebirds travel to Cooper for a 7:30
p.m. contest.
