Highlands avenges earlier loss

The Highlands Bluebirds avenged an loss earlier in the season with a 1-0 road victory over the Dixie Heights Colonels.

Highlands (17-16 overall) lost 4-3 to the Colonels on April 14 in the Doc Morris Invitational. Highlands moved to 10-5 in 9th Region action with the win.

Highlands travels to Covington Catholic on Wednesday. Game time is 5 p.m.
