Weekend Round-up: Bluebird JV football ends season with bang

Highlands finished the junior varsity football schedule with a convincing win Saturday.

The Bluebirds ventured to Dry Ridge and handed the Grant County Braves a 56-0 defeat. Highlands scored as many points as the varsity did against Grant County on Friday.

Highlands finished the JV schedule 7-2. That marked a six-win improvement from the 1-5 campaign a year ago.

The Highlands freshman team (7-2) has one game left Thursday against Campbell County. Game time is 6 p.m. at David Cecil Memorial Stadium.
