Highlands freshman football team finishes 7-3

The Highlands Bluebirds freshman football team hoped to finish off the season with an impressive 8-2 mark at home Thursday.

But the Bluebirds came up short falling 28-22 to Campbell County. Highlands beat the Camels, 22-6 on Sept. 9 in Alexandria. The other two losses came to Covington Catholic and Louisville Trinity.

Highlands still recorded four more wins than last year. The Freshman team finished 3-5 last year.
