The Highlands Ladybirds soccer team could not put together another win in the rugged Lexington Catholic Cup on Saturday.
Highlands (5-6 overall) dropped a 3-1 decision to the host Lady Knights (11-2) in the third-place game Saturday. This marked the first time the Ladybirds fell below .500 on the season. Lauren Ossege scored the lone Ladybird goal.
The Ladybirds take on Cooper on Monday. Game time is 8 p.m.
