The Highlands Bluebirds soccer team handled the Beechwood Tigers, 4-0 in non-district action Monday.
Highlands snapped a two-game winless streak with the win. The Bluebirds moved to 4-6-2 overall.
Brady Gesenhues continued his solid season with two goals for Highlands. He owns a team-high 10 goals on the season. Ben Schweitzer and Ben Seiter added the other two for the Bluebirds and goalkeeper Paul Tully had two saves.
Highlands plays at Covington Holmes on Tuesday. Game time is 7 p.m.

The Ladybirds (5-4) won the first game of the Lexington Catholic Cup on penalty kicks.
They take on Louisville Sacred Heart on Wednesday back at LexCath. Game time is 6 p.m.
