Highlands Places Fifth in Tournament

Twitter Photo. The Highlands Bluebirds boys golf team played in the Bullitt East Charger Open at Heritage Hill Country Club in Shepherdsville on Friday.

The Highlands Bluebirds played in the Bullitt East Charger Open on Friday and finished fifth out of 20 teams.

Highlands shot 315 at Heritage Hill Country Club in Shepherdville. Opponents included Louisville Trinity and South Warren. Senior Luke Muller led Highlands shooting an even-par 72 to finish fourth.

The Bluebirds play in the Lexington Frederick Douglass Bronco Invitational on Monday. Tee time is 9 a.m. at Greenbrier Country Club.
