Head Coach Katelyn Sallee wants to see the Highlands Ladybirds volleyball team
have a winning season.
They took a step closer to that with a 3-1 (32-30, 25-13, 22-25, 25-14) victory over the Covington Holy Cross Lady Indians on Tuesday. Highlands recorded 60 kills, 53 assists, 93 digs, three aces and four blocks in the win.

Jessica Ginter had 22 kills, an ace and 28 digs in the win with setter Kaitlin
Hall making 50 assists, an ace and 11 digs. Teammate Sydney Kroger recorded 15
digs and Hannah Harris had 10 kills.
Highlands
(16-15) travels to Lexington Lafayette on Thursday. Game time is 7 p.m.

McDonald had 11 kills and 18 digs with cousin Mikah Freppon making 26 assists
