The Highlands Ladybirds softball team moved to 4-2
with an 11-1 six-inning domination of the Campbell County Lady Camels on
Friday.
Highlands does not play again until April 11 in the
Jaguar Classic at East Jessamine. The Ladybirds face Rockcastle County at 9:30
p.m.
Baseball:
Highlands 13, Dayton

The Bluebirds moved to 4-1 with a five-inning
run-ruling to open the Little 5 Tournament at Lloyd Memorial.
Grayson Heck (1-0) picked up the win on the mound
for the Bluebirds. He struck out six.
Highlands outhit 1-4 Dayton, 8-2 and took advantage
of seven Green Devil errors. Brady Murray led the way going 2-for-2 with a
double and two runs batted in and Evan Allen also went 2-for-4. Kenny Ball had
four runs batted in and Brandon Hergott had a double and two runs batted in.
Highlands heads to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to
play in the Ripken Experience. The Bluebirds open against Painsville Riverside
(Ohio) at 8:30 p.m.
