The
Highlands Bluebirds softball team defeated Dayton, 12-0 in five innings in
District 36 action Wednesday.
Highlands
moved to 14-8 with the win. The Bluebirds play host to Ryle at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Baseball Cancellations:
The
Highlands and Newport Central Catholic games scheduled for Wednesday were
postponed. Highlands faced Dixie Heights and the game was called in the fourth
inning. NewCath did not make the trip to Alexandria to face Campbell County.
Highlands
faces Beechwood at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Connor Classic. NewCath travels to
Cincinnati Anderson for a 7 p.m. contest Thursday.
