Three local
games were cancelled Monday because of rain. The Highlands baseball team was to
travel to Cooper and the softball team was to play host to Boone County. The
Newport Central Catholic softball team was to play host to Lloyd Memorial.
On slate
for today, NewCath’s softball team (12-10) plays host to St. Henry at 5 p.m.
and the Highlands baseball team plays host to St. Henry at 5 p.m.
Also down
in Lexington, the NewCath baseball team plays Hazard in the All “A” Semifinals
at 2 p.m. The championship game then takes place at 6 p.m.
