The five Highlands seniors had one last show at the home gym in the final regular season game of the year.
The Bluebirds (26-7 overall) took care of business like usual with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-19) win over the Conner Lady Cougars. Highlands has won all three meetings against Conner this year and moved to 13-5 against 9th Region opponents.
"(We just) wanted to get more into a rhythm," said Katelyn Sallee, Highlands Head Coach. "Coming out of our Louisville weekend, we just felt out of sync. At Cake (Classic), we got kind of back in rhythm. Then this week, even more so. We just wanted to build some confidence off the things we've done well the majority of the season making sure we're keying on those things."

Senior defensive specialists Rylee Kirschenbaum and Brooke Biltz have set them and the other teammates up well all year. Kirschenbaum had 10 digs and Biltz had seven. In three seasons, the five seniors have been a part of 76 wins.
"This definitely is a good lead into the postseason because we're really going to need that to take on the teams that we're going to face," Kirschenbaum said. "It was a very emotional night, but we powered through. We dominated pretty much through the whole game. There wasn't really a time where we lost that."
