The Highlands Bluebirds freshmen football team moved to 5-1 on the year with a home win Monday.
Highlands beat Cooper, 40-0. It was a make-up game from Aug. 31 when the varsity traveled to Scott County.
Quarterback Cam Hergott led Highlands with three passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown. Jason Noe caught two receiving touchdowns and Sam Vinson had one. Diego Carlos and Mason South rushed for one touchdown each.
The Bluebirds take on Boone County on Thursday at Cecil Memorial Stadium. Game time is 6 p.m.
