Bluebirds record fifth shutout of season

The Highlands Bluebirds ventured to Alexandria on Tuesday and picked up a 2-0 victory over the Campbell County Camels.

Highlands moved to 4-1-2 with the victory and Campbell County dropped to 2-3. The Bluebirds have five shutouts on the season.

The Bluebirds saw junior Nick Gish and senior Solomon Farris score the goals. That marked their second goals of the season.

Highlands returns to 9th Region action Thursday. The Conner Cougars (1-2-2) come to town for an 8 p.m. contest.
