The Highlands Bluebirds basketball team finished the Coach Bob Classic at South Oldham with two wins Sunday.

Highlands (2-5) knocked off the 2-11 Todd County Central Rebels, 70-58 to conclude the tournament. The Bluebirds led 36-24 at halftime.

Senior Kenny Ball led Highlands with 25 points making 7-of-11 three-point shots. Parker Harris followed with 16 points and Justin Weyer scored nine.

“We’ve figured out how to play together,” said Kevin Listerman, Highlands Head Coach. “We haven’t had enough practice to go over game situations. That cost us in the first game (against North Oldham). We grew from it and handled it the second game. We played well (Sunday).”

Highlands plays host to the defending state champion Covington Catholic Colonels on Friday. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
