The Highlands Bluebirds volleyball team dropped to 12-20 following a 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-22) loss at Covington Holy Cross on Tuesday.

Kaitlin Hall led Highlands with nine digs, 14 assists and eight kills. Teammate Kaylan Frisch followed with two blocks.

The Bluebirds conclude the regular season at home Thursday against Lexington Lafayette. Game time is 8 p.m.

The Thoroughbreds (14-15) dropped a four-game match to the visiting Lady Pioneers on Senior Night, 3-1 (25-23, 22-25, 18-25, 27-29).

Alyssa Maier had 34 assists to lead NewCath and Keyaira Lankheit had 12 kills to go with four blocks. Rachel McDonald followed with 10 kills and Nikki Kiernan had 10 kills and three blocks.

NewCath concludes the regular season at Ryle on Wednesday. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
