Bluebirds Improve in Second Tournament

The Highlands Bluebirds golf team finished higher in its second tournament in two days Monday.



Highlands took third in the Beechwood Invitational at Twin Bridges Golf Course shooting a 313. Freshmen J.D. Gabbard and Luke Muller led the Bluebirds shooting 73 and 77 respectively. Sophomore Steven Grimme followed with an 81 and senior Aaron Verst had 82. Junior Ryan Leigh shot an 85.

Highlands plays in the Cooper Invitational on Tuesday at Boone Links Golf Course. Tee time is 8 a.m.
