The Highlands Ladybirds (14-8) and Bluebirds (9-10-3) found out where they will travel for their 9th Region quarterfinal games after losing to Newport Central Catholic in the 36th District championships.
The Ladybirds travel to Dixie Heights on Monday. Game time is 7 p.m. Highlands edged Dixie Heights, 2-1 a few weeks ago.
The winner plays either Notre Dame or Conner on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at St. Henry in the semifinals. The championship game is Friday at 7 p.m.
On the boys' side, Highlands takes on Covington Catholic on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Dixie Heights. The Bluebirds lost to the Colonels, 1-0 on Sept. 22 in Park Hills.
The winner takes on either St. Henry or Cooper on Thursday at Dixie Heights at 6 p.m. The championship game is Saturday at 5 p.m.
