Highlands Girls Soccer Drops Tight One

St. Ursula Spoils Senior Night

The Highlands Bluebirds girls soccer team (8-4 overall) lost 2-1 to Cincinnati St. Ursula on Senior Night at Tower Park.

Freshman forward Chloe Bramble scored her second goal of the season for Highlands. Junior Maria Wiefering tallied her team-high seventh assist on the play.

St. Ursula out-shot Highlands, 13-12 including 8-5 on goal. Highlands junior goalkeepers Maggie Hinegardner and Rylee Thomas made three saves each.

Highlands travels to Beechwood on Wednesday. Game time is 8 p.m.

Golf, Girls:
Highlands Finishes Runner-Up in Division II NKAC Meet:

The event took place at Boone Links Golf Course in Florence. Senior Olivia Hopper led Highlands shooting a 97 for her personal best this year.

Highlands plays in the Region 6 Tournament at Twin Oaks Golf Course in Covington. Tee time is 8 a.m.
