|Bluebirds Lose in Three to Pandas|

But at this point in the season, the Pandas (19-6) beat the Bluebirds, 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-17) in Park Hills. Notre Dame has lost to just one Kentucky team in Louisville Mercy in early September.
Highlands hit just .066 as a team connecting on 18-of-91 attempts with 12 attacking errors. The Bluebirds also had 18 assists, three aces on 51 attempts with seven errors, 44 digs, four solo blocks, seven passing errors, 10 blocking errors and four general ball-hitting errors.
Sophomore CC Shick led Highlands with seven kills and two solo blocks. Senior Audrey Graves had 17 assists and eight assists with senior Casey Dunn recording 10 digs to go with four kills. Senior Ava Hockney had five kills and senior defensive specialist Rylee Kirschenbaum had nine digs.
Highlands plays host to Cooper on Thursday. Game time is 7 p.m.
Highlands junior Ellie Rowland and sophomore KJ Toole qualified for the state meet at Bowling Green Country Club. To qualify individually, players had to finish in the top seven not on the region championship team.
Neither advanced past the first day. Both shot 91s for a plus-19 on the par-72 18-hole course.
