The Highlands Bluebirds baseball and softball teams recorded 9th Region run-rulings Wednesday.
The Bluebird baseball team (9-8 overall) won 25-3 at Covington Holmes in five innings. Highlands has won two in a row and travels to Dayton on Friday. Game time is 5 p.m.
The Ladybirds beat Beechwood, 19-4 in three innings. They moved to 11-6 overall and 5-0 in region play with their third straight run-ruling.
Highlands takes on Ryle on Friday in Union. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
