The Newport
Central Catholic Lady Breds soccer team won its third straight with a 3-0
shutout of the host Covington Holy Cross Lady Indians on Wednesday at Farris Park.
NewCath
(4-1) has shut out three straight opponents by a combined 9-0. Goalkeeper Meg
Martin had to save just one shot for the Lady Breds.
Freshman
forward Taylor Tolle led NewCath with two goals to up her total to five scores
in two games. Teammate Allie Otten scored the other goal for the Lady Breds.
NewCath
plays at St. Henry on Saturday. Game time is 7 p.m.
