Highlands Softball Falls

The Highlands softball team could not make it consecutive wins on the road in its 9th Region opener Monday.

Dixie Heights held off the Ladybirds (2-4 overall) by a 6-4 count. Highlands takes on Newport Central Catholic at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Winkler Field.
