The Newport
Central Catholic Thoroughbreds boys basketball team (5-1) earned another win in
the consolation round of the King of the Bluegrass Tournament at Louisville
Fairdale on Monday.
NewCath beat Louisville Waggener, 64-48. Drew McDonald and Ben Weyer again led the way scoring 21 and 19 points respectively and Zack Pangallo added 10.

Thoroughbreds play for the consolation championship at 3 p.m. Tuesday taking on
Louisville Ballard.
